Note: Dependent coverage will not be offered for the 2020/2021 Plan Year.

Due to auditing requirements, a combined annual coverage option is no longer available. Students enrolled in the fall coverage period may renew their coverage during the Spring/Summer Open Enrollment Period if they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.

We're becoming more environmentally friendly by going paperless this year! All enrollment will now be online, allowing you to enroll with more convenience and ease.

Online Enrollment Periods

Summer II - 06/10/2021 - 07/09/2021

International Students

International Students with F1 or J1 visa Status: To satisfy the University of Houston System (UHS) policy on maintaining acceptable health insurance coverage, each semester all Language and Culture Center (LCC) students with "F" or "J" status will be automatically enrolled in and charged for the UHS Student Health Insurance Plan. If you wish to waive this coverage, please Click Here.

Domestic Students

Domestic students as well as international students in non-F and non-J status may seek coverage by enrolling in the Plan during open enrollment period and pay the premium directly to Academic HealthPlans (AHP)
